Mario Kart has captivated millions with its thrilling races and competitive gameplay, yet it leaves gaps that web3 can easily address. #1 lack of digital asset ownership: in web2, hard-earned achievements, and unlocked race tracks, despite their value to players, are non-fungible and locked within the game environment. To solve this we are deploying NFTs that represent ownership of in-game assets (like users' cars) and store players' assets on the Morph Blockchain! #2 lack of monetary rewards for playing: some gamers are attracted by the potential to earn tokens as a reward for the time they spend in the game but this does not happen in web2 games. #3 Obstacles and Challenges: Players must navigate through the tracks while searching for hidden coins. These hidden coins add an extra layer of excitement and strategy to the races, making it more than just a typical racing game. #4 Variety of Race Types: Beyond traditional races, the game includes obstacle courses and time trials, offering diverse challenges to keep players engaged and entertained.

With Win-Me, we’re working to address Web2’s frustrations and bring one of the biggest childhood games to Web3!!

Win-Me is an Open Source Racing Game built within the Unity Gaming Engine, for this build, we utilized 3 main technologies.

Unity - Unity is a powerful game engine that we utilized for this built, by using custom assets for the racing karts, networking for multiplayer and so on. This game engine has been utilized for numerous Web3 Games but has a lack of documentation for Web3 integrations. Making this build a little harder than anticipated.

Morph - We use Morph L2 to power our consumer-based marketplace and manage NFT collections for Win Me Game. Morph allows us to efficiently handle high transaction volumes, ensuring scalability and smooth user experiences during in-game asset trading and NFT interactions. Its layer 2 solution offers the necessary speed and cost savings to optimize our platform’s performance.

Web3Auth - Web3Auth simplifies the onboarding process for users by enabling them to log in using social providers like Google or Twitter. Once logged in, Web3Auth automatically generates a non-custodial wallet with a unique address. This wallet can seamlessly connect to any decentralized application (dApp) through Web3Auth plugins, allowing users to interact with various blockchain features. Additionally, the wallet can be used for sending, receiving, and purchasing tokens or NFTs. Furthermore, Web3Auth supports fiat on-ramp services, enabling users to buy cryptocurrencies using payment methods such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, and MasterCard, making it easy to bridge traditional and decentralized finance.
