In November 2022, the groundbreaking AI engine, ChatGPT, was launched, revolutionizing our perception of artificial intelligence. Many believe that prompting is the emerging user interface set to supersede all existing ones. This project introduces a Web3 plugin to ChatGPT, enabling wallet creation, on-chain queries, and execution of on-chain actions directly from ChatGPT prompts.
Just as Metamask revolutionized browser Web3 interactions, this project brings a similar transformative impact to AI bots.
How it's Made
The project was initiated by thoroughly examining the ChatGPT plugin documentation, which primarily featured Python-based examples. The first significant achievement was the successful porting and configuration of the entire project into TypeScript. Subsequently, a list of fundamental user flows intended for implementation was created, accompanied by concise technical specifications. The subsequent stages primarily involved crafting API calls to execute the desired actions and annotating them. These annotations serve to provide the necessary context for the ChatGPT system to comprehend.
