Considering social media has much power to connect people worldwide, anything that's said on the web reaches humans faster than ever. But how often does one take the time to analyze or verify the news or events happening to promote the truth?

One must remember that a lie may have many variations but the truth, none.

Our goal is to provide factual accuracy, unfiltered truth, and information immune to violations. So facilitating the correct flow of data is at the heart of the Vetting DAO.

Keeping this in mind, the Vetting DAO takes up information from a social media source and gets verification from a team of domain experts. Our DAO community checks data on many levels of accuracy and how true/questionable it is.

The DAO community has the right to vote on certain parameters and issues. If the news turns out to be fake or false, they're revoked of member rights.

This project is build using react Js and Solidity along with this numerous web3 technologies are used like Web3.storage, XMTP and Unstoppable Domain to add various features to the project. This project can be used to authenticate the post in social media to reduce the spread of rumour in social media.
