ValhallaMeta.io Artist DAO

As an artist and writer, I've been building a Web3 content for the past several years. I eventually had created and collected so much content that I started an LLC and recently added a website to showcase it all. The name of the company/website is ValhallaMeta.io There are many types of content, including POAPs that I've earned over the years, but the main focus is the 1/1 original art NFT gallery. I've now collected over 400 1/1 NFTs from over 100 artists total. Little by little I'm adding things to make the site more interactive, and am going to add an "Artist Choice" Gallery. This gallery will be chosen and curated from an Artist DAO. The only way to get into the DAO is to have your work displayed in the gallery. I do have a custom ERC20 token that I considered using, but I wanted it to be more cost effective and more reflective of what it represents, an art gallery. This is why I think POAP is the perfect choice to use as a token for voting at ValhallaMeta.io in the Artist Coalition DAO. I will design 2 very detailed and artistic POAPs, one for artists with work in the "Multiples" gallery and one for artists with work in the "1/1 Gallery". They will both represent 1 curation vote, but one will be a little fancier. This POAP will serve as their Proof of Vote for the Artist Coalition DAO for all artists.

The whole process of ValhallaMeta.io has been long. It is just mostly one and sometimes two of us and we have not taken any funding, so we build it up as we have time and can afford. We already have over 400 1/1 NFTs from over 100 Artists, about 70 Web3 Domains, including some premiums, 4 original custom collections, as well as a page displaying our hackathon/community POAPs, so this should be pretty seamless. To be honest I overextended us by accidentally booking 2 hackathons at once, but it will be fine. The POAP that I'm building doesn't need to be interactive, or fancy, or have video, etc. In fact, I want it to be the opposite of that. I want to think simple, but classy. Something that is bold and strong and makes a statement that our Artists can proudly display. I took my time and made 2 really pretty POAPs, the POAP team was quick with curation and getting me mint links. I built an "Artist Portal" at ValhallaMeta.io for the artists to fill out their information to be sent their mint links, as well as be included in the artist index. I got a great response and made an email template and began sending out the POAPs. Everything went really smoothly and the POAPs are being minted as I type and we hope to have our first DAO vote and Artist Choice gallery up next month.
