UNICAR is a platform of NFT Invoices, this platform allows the standard global registration of cars, giving manufacturers and dealers access with prior verification, to the platform that will mint NFTs linked to the serial number or vehicle ID.

Applications:

• Monetize vehicles through NFTs
• Prevent against theft or falsification of documents
• A way for police entities to make use of NFTs as verification of vehicles' legal status through a QR code generated from the NFT
• Traceability of auto parts is guaranteed, when the vehicle is dismantled, the NFTs will have to be burned for its legal dismantling
• A way for insurance companies to verify legal status of each vehicle

How are they pieced together?

We tokenize vehicles as NFTs that are verified on the UNICAR platform, and transferred on the Polygon platform, customers or sellers verify the authenticity of the vehicle with a QR

If you used sponsor technology, how did it benefit your project?

Polygon: with the low commissions of the polygon network, we make it accessible for dealers and users to interact with tokenization invoices IPFS: thanks to IPFS technology we can safely and easily store the invoices integrated into the non-fungible token

Did you do anything particularly hacky that's notable and worth mentioning?

Unicar uses algorithmic technology to collect the form information and store it in a smart contract to be minted into an NFT.

How did you impress yourself with what your team built?

The team is multidisciplinary, which gives us emphasis on a structuring of diverse ideas, thanks to this team it was possible to create UNICAR, the interaction of the intelligent contract with the polygon network, gives us scalability.

National Competition • Consular Repuve: unofficial site on vehicular consultation. Disadvantages: bureaucratic control, since it is a federal program, each one of the Entities has its own Control offices, it does not solve that the stolen vehicle is acquired by another person since the serial number can be modified. • Rapi: Bureaucratic control does not solve that the stolen vehicle is acquired by another person since the serial number can be modified. • National competition does not prevent the authorized dealership from embezzling official vehicle documents.
