Project Description
Blockchain-based payment splitting tool that enables groups to easily and transparently share expenses. By leveraging the power of smart contracts, the platform eliminates the need for manual tracking and simplifies splitting bills among friends, family, and coworkers. The intuitive user interface allows users to select the chain and token of their choice, and the flexible system accommodates payments in any currency. The goal is to provide a seamless, decentralized, and secure way for people to share expenses and manage payments in a user-friendly and efficient way.
Payers don't need to leave the platform to settle payments; they can do it directly within the app, making the UX better than the current web2 solutions that either require a third party or payments happen outside of the platform entirely.
How it's Made
Our backend is deployed on a permissionless decentralized application written in Solidity, which stores debt and payment records in a ledger-style format. This approach facilitates easy integration with other dApps and offers opportunities for optimizing the settlement process.
Frontend is written in Typescript, built on NextJS, and uses React & Tailwind for the UI. For web3 aspects, the frontend uses Ethers, Wagmi & Rainbow Kit.
