Split IT

We wanted to solve a problem that is faced by almost everyone in today's time. everyone must've gone through splitting bills having disputes over splitting them or getting paid back or for the missing expenses that incurs when we go for a date/dinner/trip/tour/restaurant/or we go out with our friends. This problem can lead to useless expenditure which one might not want to get in We are Building a Project which we'll be naming Split IT. As we all travel with our groups and friends we all face a problem while splitting the bills. often common disparities occur while splitting bills for a certain trip or travel or restaurant and many problems are arisen to combat those problems we'll be creating an app where you can make a group upload all the expenses and their details over there like who paid it what was the total which should be approved by every member(to avoid any cheats) and when the trip is over our app will provide a precise number which shall be paid by each member to settle all the expenses and it'll pay that amount automatically by the smart contract that'll be deployed in our app once everyone approves the transaction the smart contract will work and will settle the amount automatically by paying that amount from the wallet of the members of the group. By this Dapp we can prevent any problems faced while splitting the bills in a very smart way. It'll also reduce the burden of calculating everyone's share and paying them or not paying them helps prevent expenditures from going missing and avoid any kind of scams/cheats.

We Built it using typescript, Java script, Next JS, and Tailwind CSS to create a dynamic and responsive website to enhance the User Interface and User Experience. We used Solidity to make a smart contract that works after a trip is ended and makes everyone pay the amount they owe to each other and to make them pay without cheats and Hassel freeway. We have deployed our Smart-contract on Scroll and Optimism. and used push notifications to notify customers about the bills and transactions
