What we have build is a decentralized peer review system to address the huge centralization that has arised in reviewing research papers and disbursement of research grants. Our project aims to distribute the task of reviewing or vetting research proposals/papers among 100s or even 1000s of research communities rather than having a handful of research committees to do the same. All the while, we have a developed our own tokenomics to ensure that the reviewers in the process are also rewarded for their contributions. At the moment, 1.8 million research papers are published every year and a few handful of organizations collect and index them. Also, there is big need for good research to get proper funding, it is very common for ground breaking research proposals not getting the attention required to develop into a product. Our platform aims to resolve these issues. However, we are also not limiting ourselves to only research papers but the same principle can also be applied to hackathons (like ETHIndia 2022 ;)) , the music industry, artworks and many more. Communities on our platform will also be verified using the power of Polygon Id to make sure the right people are allowed to review your intellectual assets, which you can trade in the form of NFTs. Our platform aims at disrupting the centralized process of intellectual property creation and reward the contributors of the ecosystem in the correct way.
