A dapp to report public infrastructure and security needs in Queretaro City hosted on IPFS and image uploading using Textile.
RepoTARO takes advantage of IPFS and Textile to provide a decentralized reporting system for citizens to register public infrastructure and security needs in urban areas. Users can fill a form and upload a photo to report a broken streetlight, a bump, or a security issue, then other users can verify when the issue is solved by multisiging and uploading a photo of the solved issue.
Both reporter and verifiers are rewarded with TARO tokens and can get NFTs for interaction achievements.
This project uses a create-eth-dapp deployed with Yarn to build a Web3 application where users can create photo reports using Textile buckets to manage images and taking advantage of the IPFS decentralized storage capabilities. We plan to facilitate hosting and deployment on IPFS using Fleek and consider a L2 solution to improve user experience.
