The idea behind Art3mis is to incentivise influencers to join the Lens protocol, in order for them to own their profile and be able to use it across multiple social platform built on top of Lens.



The way we make this happen is by creating a vampire attack system that could be integrated in any social platform built on top of Lens in which various stakeholders contribute and benefit from it. On one side, there are influencers, having various profiles on web2 social platforms, but not yet on Lens. On the other side, there are hunters, whose role will be to hunt such influencers and get them to join the network., while being reward for it.

Hunting module:

- Hunters hunt for non existing influencers profiles, and create those on their behalf (based on Twitter handle) - at this stage, such newly created profiles are pending (still to be claimed by the influencer, who is expected to own it)

- The idea is that hunters will earn a share of revenue generated by such profiles, and will be incentivised to stake on those profiles. Influencers will be able to claim such pending profiles, and earn amounts that have been staked to it (by a series of hunters)

- Hunters can then stake funds on various pending unclaimed Lens profiles to increase the financial incentive for influencers to join - the more staked amount there is for the influencer to grab, the more chance such profile will be claimed



Claiming profile module:

- When an influencers judge he has gathered sufficient incentive to join, he can claim his profile, by transferring it to his wallet while claiming the staked amount

- Influencers will have to prove their identity by proving their ownership over their Twitter profile by posting a public key



Claiming rewards module:

- Based on the follow functionality in Lens, profiles will earn money through expanding their network, as more other profiles follow them (and pay for it)

- Hunters are entitled to earn a share of such generated revenue in proportion of their stake

- Hunters will have the ability to claim such rewards via a claiming functionality

DAOscourse is a DAO Governance dApp leveraging the Lens protocol to create mechanisms to allow contributors to participate to the governance On-Chain and own their contributions. As a DAO you can create your own page, grow your audience, allow contributors to make proposals, discuss and vote. Plan was to create a version of Discord using the Lens Protocol and its concepts as equivalents. A Lens profile becomes the server, a Lens post becomes a channel in that server, and a Lens comment becomes a message in that channel. Future features could include:

- media sharing e.g. images, screenshots over IPFS, etc.

- encrypted and/or invite-only channels - I planned to incorporate Lit if I had more time

Buonfire

Uses Lens Protocol. It is based off their (well, Aave's) lens repo where I brought in all the contracts to a typescripted version of scaffold-eth. I brought in the lens custom tasks into the hardhat project. Then I got everything deploying to a local hardhat network and replicated the tasks then created some custom tasks. The vite app was made to support some lens behavior.

OnlyApes

This project uses the existing lens social graph to create a monetizable content creation, engagement and interaction platform. Every users owns a unique profile NFT. And each content is an NFT, it offers a way to monetize contents and protect copyright with NFT technology.

NFT stickers is a way to drive engagement, since they are not just stickers, they can be used to make content visibility to only those that own it, giving content creators more control over their apps.

To define popularity, we analyze the Social Graph of Crypto Twitter accounts and attach a unique reputation score to each - representing their influence in our space.



We allow our users to tokenize their reputation score in their reputation NFT. Tokenizing web2 reputation will unlock a number of use cases that need a form of trust - like a crypto Airbnb or Uber.



Our hack also aims to showcase a go-to-market for a decentralized Twitter alternative, which we hope inspires a new generation of Web3 DApps.



Kontext

Prnts is a social investment platform and music discovery tool where artists allow their fans to invest in individual projects in exchange for monthly revenue from the song or album's streams.  Fans have the ability to govern certain aspects of the project including budgets for music videos, advertisements, and collaborations. Fans will be able to follow specific projects and receive an airdrop token which will be automatically staked into a streaming pool which will pay out the monthly streaming revenue.

A decentralised social media application, that helps users to connect with a MetaMask wallet or Sequence wallet. The application contains channels that are ERC-20 and ERC-721 token-gated. Users that do not have any NFTs or tokens, will still be able to create their profile, and read some posts. Additionally, our application lets users take full ownership of their content, sell the rights to their posts, support others by sending them some funds in cryptocurrencies, and even send encrypted messages using Lit Protocol. Users can also add others, to their friend list and call them directly, thanks to Live Peer Protocol.

People's

We think Web3 needs a decentralised professional network for Web3. Since the starting point for most people in the space are Hackathons we use them as an Example of how this professional network could look like.

Organizers can “publish” Hackathons, selecting a collect module to define how submissions should look like, who will be able to vote, define what prices can be won, and put escrows behind the prices.

A participant can submit their work bei “commenting” on the “publication” of the Hackathon. Voters can then vote by collecting these comments.



This enables us to have an overview of all ongoing Hackathons, we can have more creative voting strategies, like enabling participants to vote as well, and we can curate a Hacker Profile where all our submissions are public (Depending on the Follow Module)

The Follow Module from the Lens Protocol is used for verification between users. The content that a user posts is submarine-d using Pinata. 

MetaLens 

This project uses Profile, Publication, Timeline, Follow, Explore, and NFT functions from Lens API to build a social graph on top of Punk Cities game and let users connect locally through decentralized social networks based on public places and commons minted as NFTs and meet new friends globally.

Solarpunks

This project helps content creators to own their user profiles, data and monetize the data using social graph and bloackchains. It combines ethers JS and metamask for Web3 identification. Also, the project allows users and content creators to post short form videos using the LiverPeer platform for transcoding and uploading contents to IPFS before storing the hash on the polygon blockchain.

Qsocial

We are building a way to convert NFT collections page to a lens profile. This allows the deployer or community members of the NFT to control information about their project. Once this migration is done ancillary websites using Opensea can switch to using Specto to pull NFT collection information. Finally, NFT collections can us the full suite of publications, mirrors, and governance.

This project submission is focused on laying down the foundation for a web3 social media dapp focused on facilitating DAOs and discourses on the platform. Inspired by the Agoras of ancient Greece, we seek to create a platform that will aid in the quest for community through providing infrastructure for functional community engagement and interaction.

More and more we are doing business via crypto entities -- DAOs, Gnosis-safes.  What is missing is the ability to have formal, private, encrypted communications which are *signed* by the asset-holder. There is a huge need for entities to engage in formal communications to confirm contracts, invoices, assets, etc.  Hashchat provides that messaging backbone across all chains using the power of decentralized storage (Ceramic), encryption (Lit Protocol) and now ProfileNFT messaging (Lens Protocol)

beoble is a social module with API and SDK for Web 3.0. It is an on-chain communication window and a user-owned Web 3.0 product. With beoble, Web 3.0 services can easily integrate social functionalities of social profile, messaging, and posting & feeds into their services in 5 minutes. 



We believe that social is the next opportunity in blockchain. With DeFi summer in 2020 and NFT boom in 2021, Web 3.0 has begun to gain huge attention and users, yet there is not much place for users to communicate using on-chain data on Web 3.0. Many Web 3.0 services including DEX, P2E games and NFT projects are looking into adding social features, but it is costly to build and not compatible with other services. Meanwhile, existing Web 2.0 social services lack support for blockchain and Web 3.0.  beoble aims to address those problems by providing social modules. 



beoble’s core features include 1) modularized social profile, 2) modularized wallet-to-wallet messaging, and 3) modularized posting & feeds. Users to connect their wallets to create their Web 3.0 social profile and customize it with NFTs, while following the standards of Lens Protocol. Users can also send messages to other users using either the social profile or wallet address. The messaging module supports group chats such as NFT collection holders’ private group or public chat group for a Web 3.0 service. Messaging is not the only channel to communicate, as users can post articles and write comments which is visible from modularized feeds.
