Project Description

Musiqu.eth is a platform that helps the artists to connect with their fans. It is a decentralised application, with the goal to optimise communication primarily through the effective use of Push Protocol. Additionally, the fans will be connected with the help of Lens Protocol, where they will share their music taste and connect among the fans and in a way that centers ownership.

With the help of Ethereum Name Services, users will authenticate their web3 names and avatars, in real life events such as concerts or jams where they will be rewarded with POAP’s as well as NFT’s in the future. Using the sidechain of polygon, users will be able to transact real life experiences into web3.

Push Protocol will enable users to get notifications regarding the events and updates about the artists they love the most. MetaMask authentication alongside Wallet Connect, offers users option and on-chain connection which will also allow users to connect to others too, with the help of Lens Protocol. So not only can they be more connected to their favourite artists but they they can share their real life experiences and take photos of the concerts.

Now attending real life events will have a different meaning with a footprint of web3, users can share their proof of attendance protocol with other and ENS will be facilitate the access to share merchandise, discounts and endless possibilities with their favourites artist, no matter how big or small they are, now they will have direct access, fans, artists and web3 finally connected further facilitated with the Lens Protocol integration.

How it's Made

This project uses Lens Protocol, Wallet Connect, Push Protocol and Polygon. We used ReactJS for the front end and Hardhat for the backend.

We thought comprehensively about the user experience as the key issue right now lack of engagement with Web2 platforms due to the algorithm. Musiqu.eth is the solution, engaged users can opt into relevant notifications with Push Protocol. Music makes people happy, music boosts well-being so being able to connect with artists more facilities the eco-system. This is where Lens Protocol comes in too, a social media feed with like minded music artists to enable them to also discover new artists even locally.

Push Protocol helped us by sending notifications in a easy way and interacting with smart contracts. Lens Protocol is the core of our project, we use it to create new profiles and follow the artists, really smooth integration. WalletConnect allow us to onboard many other wallets and new users to other platform
