Geofile — Hyper-localization storage

A tool that allows miners to offer their storage based on their location and miners characteristics. Miners get better than market deals, by fulfilling strict requirements needed in more demanding verticals like health and finance. While working on the project we have worked closely with swiss Insel Gruppe to understand their data storage requirements.

This project uses Powergate to manage the data on the Filecoin / IPFS network. The frontend is built with Vue while the backend is written in python and uses pygate to interact with Powergate. Additionally substantial work was necessary on the infrastructure side as running Lotus nodes is still not trivial and requires considerable computational resources.
