Project Description
FOMO NOMO is a mobile app that lets you see which events are available, nearby, and that you can attend based on your NFT holdings. You can add events from the app to your Calendar. We mapped out 3 approaches for a backend that uses Superfluid streams to rent NFTs in order to attend events. As a mobile app/platform, we will take a 2.5% commission on NFT rentals facilitated by the app; the code itself is open-source.
How it's Made
Sponsors: Superfluid, Polygon, Optimism, OpenSea - We used React for the front end, Rainbow Kit and WAGMI for wallet and smart contract integration, and Figma for design. For prototyping the smart contracts, we used the hard hat framework. We minted NFTs through Polygon's free Mint tool, and our app is compatible with any EVM-based chain, including Polygon and Optimism. We hacked a frontend with no frontend team member and architected a backend with a single dev.
