FlashNFT - Mint NFTs at low cost on Polygon

Project Description

⚡ Flash NFT 💥 📸

Minting NFTs incurred high costs if using Ethereum mainnet. Use our tool to mint your NFTs 🎨 and avoid high gas fees.

FlashNFT is a tool that allows creators to quickly mint their content into NFTs. The minting is conducted on Layer2 (Polygon) which reduces high gas costs.

Problem:

To mint a single NFT token costs around 80 USD on some providers. Often this gas fee cost more than the sell price.

Lazy minting might be a solution for some, but the cost still remains the same.

The solution is running transactions on layer 2 infrastructure, like matic network now Polygon.

With the power of sidechain technology tokens can be minted at a fraction of the cost and later withdrawn into the Ethereum network.

How it's Made

Polygon (Matic): We are using L2 instead of Ethereum for performance and cost saving (gas fees).

We have deployed our Smart Contract on Matic and the Ethereum Network. If the Matic team finds time to support us/ add our token to their wallet with POS Bridge functionality, we will map the contracts on both networks, making it possible to transfer the NFTs to the Ethereum network.

IPFS.io is used to store the NFT media (audio, video or image in our case)

Pinata is used for pinning (persistently saving data on IPFS NFT storage) (thank you IPFS)

Matic Network: Transactions currently work in matic sidechain!

We have tried enable the transfer of NFTs from Matic POS Bridge to Ethereum. We did deploy our FlashNFT contract on both networks. Transfer of ERC721 tokens from MATIC network to GOERLI required contract mapping. At the time of development the mapper tool was not working https://mapper.matic.today/map/

Rarible.com Protocol: possibly requires deploying their test contract onto the matic mainnet

ENS Domain: Our plan was to integrate ENS. Since we cannot send NFTs to Ethereum due to limitations on Matic side, we have included this.

OpenSea: we added attributes to the NFT that is supported by opensea!
