It is a smaller version of ENS on the Polygon blockchain: anyone can buy a domain NFT and direct it to something. This is fantastic because once your contract is on the blockchain, any data it contains will be global! Anyone can read the names and figure out what it's pointing to. And, because blockchains are unstoppable, no one can erase your data or destroy your epic domain. We think of name services as global APIs. They are accessible to everyone, and you can store data that can be queried. ENS allows you to save a large number of items.
