Our project enable clients to easily choose their preferred storage provider on the FVM network through two different methods - one is a mathematically generated rating from our end and the other is the public consensus, achieved through enabling people to stake tokens on a storage provider.

This project uses one smart contract with openzeppelin to extend the functionality of the dApp. The smart contract keeps record of the ratings and the stake amount of the storage provider in a struct. Every time the rating is changed, an event is fired with the hash of the current data so that the whole process is trustless and provable. There is a backend written in express.js which also has Postgres database connected which also contains similar data about the storage providers, but with a few extra fields. We also have several API endpoints to help clients get realtime data on which storage provider is meeting their needs at that moment.
