BlocFund is a decentralized, multichain fundraising platform designed to connect users with meaningful causes through transparent and secure contributions. By leveraging blockchain technology, BlocFund enables users to create, manage, and contribute to fundraising campaigns with enhanced trust and accountability. The platform operates across multiple networks, including Celo, offering flexibility, low transaction costs, and broad accessibility. BlocFund integrates Sign Protocol, an omni-chain attestation protocol, to issue verifiable on-chain attestations for user contributions. This ensures structured, retrievable proof of participation, enhancing transparency and trust throughout the fundraising process.

BlocFund is a multichain decentralized fundraising platform, designed to facilitate transparent and efficient charitable contributions across multiple blockchain networks. The platform allows users to create and manage campaigns, contribute funds, and track campaign progress using blockchain technology. Here's how the project was developed:

Multichain Integration: We integrated multiple blockchain networks, including Celo, to leverage scalability, low transaction costs, and broader access, making it an ideal choice for our decentralized application.

Smart Contracts: The core functionality of BlocFund is powered by smart contracts deployed on various blockchains. These contracts manage campaign creation, fund management, and contribution tracking, ensuring decentralized and trustless operation.

Contract Verification: To maintain transparency and trust, we used Blockscout (for Celo) and other blockchain explorers to verify the smart contracts. These explorers allow us to check transactions and provide a transparent view of contract interactions.

Deployment: The smart contracts for BlocFund were deployed across multiple testnets, including Celo Dango and Alfajores. These environments provide a safe space for development and testing before moving to the mainnets.

Sign Protocol: After successful transactions, BlocFund utilizes the Sign Protocol to attest contributions for the user whenever a campaign is raised. This provides verifiable proof of participation, enhancing trust and accountability for contributors.
