Publisher Side: Educational institutions, known as "publishers," have the exclusive privilege to publish students' records securely. To ensure data integrity and access authorization, they connect their Ethereum wallets, proving their eligibility. Before being granted permission to write data on the blockchain, publishers undergo a basic Know Your Customer (KYC) process, guaranteeing data sanctity and confirming their identity.

Blockchain and IPFS Integration: Alumni Trust leverages the Ethereum blockchain to ensure the immutability of student records. This means once data is published, it cannot be altered or tampered with, providing a reliable source of truth for academic credentials. IPFS, the InterPlanetary File System, is used to store these records. It offers a decentralized and tamper-resistant storage solution, preserving the privacy of the data while enabling efficient retrieval.
