Project Description
1Beat is a decentralized platform for all artists to share their work - music, video, and art alike, LIVE. You can either create a stream for the present or schedule a stream for later. One can watch the live streams happening at that moment or choose to watch the previous recordings at their convenience.
This stream is not time-bound and anyone who has booked the stream to watch can watch it. One can choose to watch a stream that's happening halfway across the globe and not miss a show of their favorite artist/band wherever they are.
You could extend its application to live stream music shows happening at the current moment in a restaurant, a mall, or maybe even a video player in the metro station. Independent artists, local bands, and young singers are supported by the platform to reach a wider audience and let their talent shine.
The presenter may have the right to create NFTs for certain parts of the video. This could be sold to users who'd want a piece of art based on an experience.
How it's Made
This project is powered by ZORA V3 Protocol, IPFS, NFT.Storage, Livepeer, and Polygon. We've used the ZORA NFT marketplace protocol to mint, sell and buy NFT collections. We've used Polygon for building this amazing DAPP along with ZORA V3 Protocol to facilitate an NFT marketplace. NFT.Storage helps us in maintaining long-term storage of NFT metadata. Livepeer has fast-tracked the development time and aided by providing essential tools to broadcast and stream videos live on the internet.
